Valve in the use of the process often appear some troubling problems, such as the valve is not tight, close not tight, then how to do?

The valve is not tightly closed for the following reasons:

(1) There are impurities stuck in the sealing surface, debris deposited at the bottom of the valve or pad between the disc and the seat;

(2) The valve stem thread is rusty, and the valve cannot rotate;

(3) The sealing surface of the valve is damaged, resulting in the leakage of the medium;

(4) The stem is not well connected with the disc, so that the disc and the seat can not be tightly contacted.

Treatment method of loosely closed valve

1.There are impurities stuck valve sealing surface

Valve sometimes suddenly closed loosely, there may be impurities stuck between the sealing surface of the valve, at this time should not be forced to close, the valve should be slightly open, and then try to close, repeatedly, generally can be excluded, otherwise should be checked again. The quality of the medium should also be kept clean.

2.Valve stem thread rust

For the valve that is usually in the open state, when it is accidentally closed, due to the rust of the stem thread, there will also be a situation where the closing is not strict. In this case, the valve can be repeatedly switched on and off several times, and the bottom of the valve body can be hit with a small hammer, so that the valve can be closed strictly without grinding and repairing the valve.
3.Valve sealing surface is destroyed

For the case where multiple switches are still not tightly closed, that is, the sealing surface has been damaged, or the sealing surface has been damaged by corrosion, particle scratches in the medium, etc., this situation should be reported for repair.

4.Stem and disc connection is not good

In this case, you need to add oil to the stem and stem nuts, to ensure that the valve switch flexible. There should be a regular maintenance plan to strengthen the maintenance of the valve.
